Wasa Stone and Minerals (Mauritius) has acquired 2 mining opportunities in Africa.
Vasa, Ghana
Vasa Minerals Ltd (formerly known as Modern Africa Mines and Minerals) is a mining company registered locally in Ghana which has been granted all required business commencement, mining licenses and environmental permits.
Vasa Minerals was founded in February 2011 by Pierre Durant.
Dompin / Bonsa
Vasa acquired the Dompin / Bonsa Alluvial Gold and Diamond Project which is a large-scale mining property complete with mining licenses and environmental permits which allow for immediate mining.
In addition, they have a first right of refusal on the surrounding DPEPS municipality.
Rehabilitation Project
Wasa is currently running an ongoing rehabilitation project to reclaim damaged land
(illegal Chinese miners) in Ghana and to plant bamboo trees on the reclaimed land.
